Drake invests in new storage app

Rapper Drake is expanding his empire by investing in a new storage organising app.
The hip-hop star’s business ventures already include his own OVO Sound record label, clothing line, and his recently-opened restaurant, Fring’s, in his native Toronto, Canada, and now he is getting involved in the world of technology.
According to TMZ.com, Drake has agreed to invest in businessman Thomas McLeod’s app, named Omni, and help in the creative process.
The app will offer users the ability to have items placed in and retrieved from storage by providing pick-up, delivery, photographing and cataloging services, while also allowing customers to organise the things packed away in the facility without ever needing to visit the warehouse in person.
Drake isn’t the only high-profile investor supporting the new start-up – Justin Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun are also among McLeod’s backers.
