Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is sharing his top music picks with fellow wrestling fans as the executive producer of the new WWE 2K18 video game.
The fighter-turned-actor was handed the task of curating the 11-song soundtrack for the latest installment in the wrestling franchise, and among the eclectic highlights are Kanye West’s Black Skinhead, Eazy-E‘s Boyz-N-The-Hood, Kid Rock‘s You Never Met a White Boy Quite Like Me, and Down With The Sickness by Disturbed.
Also included are the more mellow Runaway Baby by Bruno Mars, Rocky Mountain Way from Joe Walsh, and the Blues Brothers‘ Soul Man.
“Over the years we have collaborated with some of the world’s most popular artists, including Florida Georgia Line, Metallica, The Weeknd and Diddy to name a few, but partnering with one of our own is always special,” reads a statement issued by WWE Music Group Senior Vice President and General Manager Neil Lawi. “Working with Dwayne is always a creative and inspirational experience, and we are thrilled to partner with him on this year’s WWE 2K18 soundtrack, and bring his diverse selection to our fans around the world.”
Dwayne took to Twitter on Friday (August, 18 2017) to express his excitement at the new gig, admitting he had to axe a number of his chosen tracks to make the game suitable for all ages.

Gamers will be able to hear more of The Fate of the Furious star’s top tunes when WWE 2K18 hits retailers in October (17).
