Eisenberg meets Facebook founder on SNL

Eisenberg, who portrayed the 26-year-old social networking entrepreneur on the big screen, hosted the show on Saturday night – with rapper Nicki Minaj as the musical guest.

During his opening monologue, cast member Andy Samberg came onstage wearing the Facebook founder’s trademark hoodie and a wig.

Cameras cut to backstage, where the real-life Zuckerberg was meeting with the show’s executive producer Lorne Michaels, jokingly ranting, “Why can’t I go in there? I’m the real Mark Zuckerberg! Come on. I invented Poking!”

Zuckerberg then walked on stage to join his two impersonators, prompting the studio audience to cheer.

Samberg asked, “Wait. Have you two not met? Awkward!”

Eisenberg, who is nominated for a best actor Oscar for his portrayal of the billionaire mogul in The Social Network, then asked, “Did you ever end up seeing the film… What did you think?”

And he finally got his answer. Zuckerberg replied, “It was interesting.”
