Eli Roth: ‘Quentin Tarantino saved me from roofie experience’

Roth was partying with his pal Tarantino and Wu-Tang Clan rapper RZA some years ago when he almost fell victim to the female duo, posing as mother and daughter, who were out to steal all of his pricey possessions.

During an interview on U.S. news channel Fox Vegas, he explains, “We went to Vegas and we went to a party and there was an afterparty at a club. It was really fun, it was really chill and then I had a drink and there was like a mother and a daughter and they were like, ‘We’re here for our bachelorette party’…

“Next thing you know, I’m getting really dizzy and they were like, ‘We’ll walk you back to your room’ and Quentin and his date dove in and were like, ‘No, we’ll take him, we’ll take him’, and I found out that’s a routine that people do – I got roofied! They were like, ‘You got zonked!’

“This was like five years ago. I actually got roofied in a club in Vegas. And the mother and daughter, that’s what they do, they take you back to your room and they steal all your stuff and then you pass out! Literally Quentin Tarantino saved me from getting roofied in Vegas.”
