Elton John fuming after Harry Styles is booed at gig

Sir Elton John cursed at the audience during his show in London on Thursday night (12Sep13) after they booed One Direction star Harry Styles. Styles was in the crowd to watch the music legend’s gig at the Roundhouse venue in the British capital as part of the iTunes festival, and Sir Elton took time out from the set to thank his famous guest for attending, saying, “Thanks to the fabulous Harry Styles”.
The singer’s statement was met with a loud chorus of boos and jeers from the crowd, prompting Sir Elton to snap back, “I love One Direction, f**k off,” before continuing with the show.
One Direction hit headlines last month (Aug13) when they were booed at the MTV Video Music Awards while picking up a prize.
Pop superstar Lady Gaga later came to their defence, branding the crowd’s behaviour upsetting and embarrassing.
