Emma Roberts and boyfriend working to move past hotel fight

Emma Roberts and her boyfriend Evan Peters are “working together to move past” the fight which led to the actress’ arrest in Canada last week (07Jul13). Julia Roberts’ niece was taken into police custody for allegedly attacking the actor in a hotel in Montreal, but she was released hours later after Peters, who was left with a bloodied nose, refused to press charges.
Now the couple’s representatives have released a joint statement, branding the incident “unfortunate” and insisting the young stars are trying to resolve their problems.
The statement reads, “It was an unfortunate incident and misunderstanding. Ms. Roberts was released after questioning and the couple are working together to move past it.”
The news comes as pictures emerged online showing the actress in floods of tears outside a TV studio in New Orleans, Louisiana. The snaps, published on TMZ.com, show Roberts crying while she is comforted by Peters.
Roberts and Peters are currently working together on TV drama American Horror Story.
