Emma Stone circling La La Land director’s new film

Oscar winners Damien Chazelle and Emma Stone are hoping to work together again on a period Hollywood movie.
Stone, who won a Best Actress Oscar for her role in Chazelle’s La La Land, is mulling over a lead role in the film, Babylon, which the in-demand director wrote. Reports suggest Brad Pitt is also interested in the project.
Deadline sources claim Lionsgate bosses, who distributed La La Land, are the frontrunners to land the project.
Chazelle’s last film, First Man, was another La La Land reunion – Stone’s co-star Ryan Gosling played astronaut Neil Armstrong in the movie.
