Erykah Badu embarrassed Tyrese Gibson at Soul Train Awards

Erykah Badu left actor and singer Tyrese Gibson red-faced at the recent Soul Train Awards after spotting him talking on his cellphone in the front row.
Badu, who was hosting the ceremony – which airs in America on Sunday (29Nov15), took exception to Gibson conducting business as she hit the stage, and decided to challenge the Fast & Furious star.
In an exclusive advance clip from the show, posted on RollingStone.com, Badu demanded that he and other distracted audience members put their cells away and focus.
“Tyrese, you’re on your phone?” she asked the star. “You’re in the front row on national TV, while your girl’s up here… and you’re on your phone? And you’re still talking. This is unbelievable.”
Badu then broke into song and performed her new track Phone Down, singing, “I can make you put your phone down/As we cruise through the city/You ain’t gonna text no one when you with me,” as she prowled through the audience grabbing rude audience members’ cell phones.
