Eva Longoria unveils star on the Walk of Fame

Eva Longoria has joined the stars on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles after unveiling a plaque on the Walk of Fame.
The pregnant 43-year-old actress was joined at the ceremony on Monday (16Apr18) by her husband Jose Baston, family members, and a group of celebrity pals, including former Desperate Housewives castmate Felicity Huffman, Anna Faris, Victoria Beckham, and Ricky Martin.
“What a dream come true today!” Eva raved on social media just ahead of the big event. “Receiving my star on the Walk of Fame is an honor I can’t even believe I’m going to experience! Can’t wait to join all the legends and even more so, can’t wait for all of y’all to go and visit it!”
The actress unveiled the 2,633rd star on the Walk of Fame and was a mess of emotions as she celebrated her latest honour.
“It was really surreal today,” tearful Longoria told Entertainment Tonight after the ceremony. “I meant it when I said, 20 years ago, standing almost at this spot saying, ‘I’m gonna have a star one day’, and then, for it to happen, was really surreal.
“And then, of course, Felicity’s speech and Ricky, and Anna… it’s just overwhelming.”
She then beamed about her next big role as a mother, telling the news outlet, “Yes, the most important project’s yet to come! It’s been amazing and I feel really honoured and blessed that all of this is happening… This has been really, really special.
“I’ll be taking a break after this. This is my last official work of duty and then just waiting, waiting for the baby.”
Longoria and Baston are expecting a son later this spring.”
