Eva Longoria would sign on for Desperate Housewives reboot ‘for nothing’

Eva Longoria would love to reprise her role as CEO and Talk Show host Gabby Solis in Desperate Housewives – and she insisted the salary wouldn’t be an issue.

The new mother spoke with Fox News about the possibility of fronting a reboot of the hit comedy-drama, which ran from 2004-2012. And when asked what it would take for her to reprise her famous role, Longoria claimed she’d return in a heartbeat.

“It would take nothing,” she shared. “I love Gabby Solis, I miss Gabby Solis. I miss Wisteria Lane. … I always said I’d be the first to sign onto a reboot.”

The 44-year-old actress welcomed her son Santiago with husband Jose Baston last June (2018), and while she admitted she’s loving the experience, the star insisted she’s doing it on her terms.

“I don’t read comments, so I usually avoid all that negativity and mom-shaming if there has been any,” she confessed. “That’s probably my biggest pet peeve about motherhood, is other mothers who judge other mothers.”

Despite having her hands full, the star swiftly returned to work after giving birth and is currently starring in the live-action Dora the Explorer movie, Dora and the Lost City of Gold.

“I didn’t realize she was globally famous until it was announced I was doing this movie, and my friends from all over the world were calling,” she admitted. “(Then) I realized how important she was in so many people’s childhoods!”

Dora and the Lost City of Gold is in cinemas now.
