New mum Evan Rachel Wood is heading back to work after signing up to head Into The Forest with Ellen Page in a film adaptation of Jean Hegland’s disaster novel. The pair will star as sisters battling to survive in a world without civilisation in the futuristic drama, which is based on the writer’s hit 1996 book.
Page will perform double duty as co-producer of the movie, which will be directed by Grey Gardens filmmaker Patricia Rozema.
It marks Wood’s first new job since welcoming a son with her husband Jamie Bell in July (13).
