Fan sues Live Nation over Janet Jackson’s tour postponements

A Janet Jackson fan is demanding promoters at Live Nation issue refunds for the superstar’s doomed tour after multiple postponements.
The Nasty hitmaker’s Unbreakable World Tour launched in the summer of 2015, but the second leg of the North American dates in January, 2016 had to be pushed back as the singer needed throat surgery.
In April, 2016, she told fans the trek would now be delayed until 2017, to allow her time to focus on starting a family with her billionaire husband Wissam Al Mana.
Janet gave birth to her first child, a son named Eissa, in January (17), but as the singer now adjusts to life as a single mother following her split from Wissam earlier this month (Apr17), fans have been left questioning if she will ever get back on the road for the Unbreakable World Tour.
Ticketholder Tiana Adams is fed up of the lengthy delays and has now filed a class action lawsuit against concert organisers at Live Nation to get fans’ money back.
In papers obtained by TMZ.com, Tiana claims Live Nation officials are trying to avoid issuing refunds by claiming the tour has simply been “rescheduled” instead of “cancelled”.
A date for Janet’s live return has yet to be announced, so Tiana insists fans like her should be entitled to their cash back.
Live Nation bosses have yet to respond to the suit.
