Peter and Bobby Farrelly have put their home state on the map by making it the setting for their quirky comedies, including Dumb & Dumber and There’s Something About Mary.
But they’re hitting the road for their latest project, because they’ll save money and enjoy sunshine if they film in America’s Deep South.
Bobby tells the Boston Herald, “We need good weather, so we have to head south. And unfortunately… Georgia has a better tax incentive and that’s huge. We save millions by going down there and you just can’t talk the studio out of it.”
