Feist to release cookbook inspired by latest album

Singer Feist has written a new vegetarian cookbook filled with recipes for the meals she ate while recording her latest album, Pleasure.
The Canadian musician has teamed up with chef Adrienne Amato, who prepared all the food the star consumed during her 11-day stint in the studio, for Pleasures: The Meals of an Album.
Feist took to Instagram on Wednesday (06Dec17) to inform fans all about her new book, which features 40 vegetarian dishes presented in a “song-by-song, day-by-day basis”.
“The making of an album is a communal process on many levels, and that extended to the community of the kitchen while we were recording,” she wrote in a caption on the picture-sharing site, attached to an image of the book’s cover. “We hope this book will embolden you to expand your repertoire, stock up on simple staples and invite friends into your kitchen to cook some of these meals with them.”
The cookbook will be released to fans on 11 December, selling exclusively on Feist’s website, and money earned from every sale will benefit charity.
“Recognising the pressures facing many households throughout the year but especially over the holiday season, all proceeds will support Community Food Centres Canada, a nonprofit that builds and supports vibrant community spaces in low-income communities where people come together to grow, cook, share, and advocate for good food for all,” the announcement concludes.
