Danny Masterson has been accused of rape by a fifth woman.

The Los Angeles Police Department launched an investigation after four women accused the former That ’70s Show star of rape, allegations which he denied, back in March (17).

A fifth woman, actress and model Bobette Riales, came forward with her allegations on Twitter on Wednesday night (20Dec17).

“I stayed quiet long enough. Danny Masterson repeatedly raped me,” she wrote. “All I seek is justice and to prevent this from ever happening to anyone else as it has for some time. My truth will be heard. I applaud her strength as well. @ChrissieBixler #metoo #sisters.”

Riales, who was pictured with Masterson in 2003 and was thought to be his girlfriend during that year, didn’t go into further detail, but HuffPost reporter Yashar Ali retweeted her post and said he had been speaking to Bobette for two months and would share her story in the new year.

Chrissie Carnell-Bixler, one of Masterson’s other accusers, wrote on Twitter, “Hey, my twitter buddies, I just wanted to introduce and ask you to follow and show support to this incredibly brave and strong woman who I’ve recently come to know and is now forevermore my sister for life. @RialesMBobette I’m in awe of you and your strength. #metoo #sisters”

Carnell-Bixler blasted Netflix bosses in November for continuing to work with Masterson on his TV series The Ranch despite the allegations, even though they quickly sacked Kevin Spacey from House of Cards for sexual abuse allegations.

Masterson was subsequently written out of the show, although he will appear in the episodes released on Netflix last week. When his dismissal was announced earlier in December, he said, “From day one, I have denied the outrageous allegations against me. Law enforcement investigated these claims more than 15 years ago and determined them to be without merit.

“I have never been charged with a crime, let alone convicted of one. In this country you are presumed innocent until proven guilty. However, in the current climate, it seems as if you are presumed guilty the moment you are accused.”
