Brad Pitt‘s appearance on Friends Thursday night produced the
show’s biggest win yet over the Survivor series on CBS. According
to Nielsen Research, Friends, which co-stars Pitt’s wife,
Jennifer Aniston, drew a 12.7 rating and a 25 share, versus a 9.6/19 for
Survivor: Africa. NBC won the night with an average 12.1/23,
followed by CBS with a 10.3/19. UPN, thanks to WWF Smackdown!,
was in third place with a 3.7/7, while ABC landed in fourth with a lowly
3.3/6.
