The Couples Retreat star was taken into custody on suspicion of fourth degree domestic assault on Friday morning (11Jun11), after a heated exchange with a female companion.
Love was initially denied bail, reportedly as a result of his prior charges, but he later posted $10,000 (£6,250) to secure his freedom and walked free hours after his arrest, according to TMZ.com.
The heavyweight funnyman is currently on probation for a felony assault count in 2009, when he was accused of beating up a man outside a Hollywood hotel.
