Gabrielle Union cuts back on wedding guests & bridesmaids

Actress Gabrielle Union has a shock is store for family members and friends who think they’ll be invited to her lavish wedding – the guest list has been slashed by her husband-to-be Dwyane Wade. The Bad Boys II star, who became engaged to the basketball player just before Christmas (13), admits many people who think they should be at the ceremony will not be getting an invite.
She explains, “This is the second time around… It’s just us… There’s a lot of people who think they’re coming – and they are not. He’s (Wade) the executioner; he’s like, ‘Let’s go through your list…’
“If you’re not about us and we don’t both have a relationship with you, you’re not gonna make it.”
And Union isn’t recruiting bridesmaids, adding, “Trying to wrangle a bunch of broads… (and) somebody wants one kinda dress, somebody wants something else; you start to not like them after a couple of months.”
The actress, who was married to sportsman Chris Howard from 2001 to 2006, has also revealed she’s insisting on a pre-nuptial agreement before she exchanges vows with Wade.
She tells U.S. talk show host Arsenio Hall, “For this marriage, the biggest difference between this and the last marriage will be a pre-nup at my insistence… The reality is I’ve never seen Dwyane balance a cheque book, so I gotta protect my stuff.”
