The One Tree Hill star and her husband became proud parents to daughter Maria in February last year (11), and she told of her delight at the birth in a gushing post on her blog.
But on Tuesday (20Mar12) she announced their marriage is over and she will be reverting to using her maiden name, Bethany Joy Lenz.
In a post on her website, the actress writes, “I’m sorry to say that Michael and I have decided to divorce. We remain friendly and dedicated to raising our beautiful girl… The only reason I’m saying anything about this at all is because you’ll all be wondering soon why everyone is calling me ‘Bethany Joy Lenz’ again.”
