Garbage releasing autobiographical coffee table book

Rockers Garbage will reveal secrets to their success in a coffee table book to be released later this year (17).
This Is the Noise That Keeps Me Awake will hit bookshelves on America’s Independence Day (04Jul17) and will feature never-before-seen photos of band members Shirley Manson, Butch Vig, Duke Erikson and Steve Marker.
Singer Manson can’t wait for fans to get hold of the book, written by journalist Jason Cohen, because it really is an all-encompassing history of her group.
“We were starting to forget what we wanted to remember,” she says. “Twenty-two years is a long time to keep track of the magic and the madness.”
A limited edition of the book will include a 12-inch vinyl disc, featuring six new live recordings of Milk, You Look So Fine, Cup of Coffee, Bleed Like Me, Beloved Freak, and Even Though Our Love Is Doomed.
The book will be released a day before the group heads out on the road with Blondie for the 22-date Rage and Rapture tour in North America, which begins in Saratoga, California on 5 July (17).
