Gene Simmons apologises for behaviour at Fox News

Gene Simmons has issued an apology for behaving inappropriately during a visit to the Fox News headquarters this week (ends19Nov17).
The KISS frontman was reportedly banned for life from the New York building after he stopped by for a promotional visit with Fox & Friends and Fox Business Network’s Mornings with Maria on Wednesday morning (15Nov17) to promote his new book, On Power.
Afterwards, he reportedly interrupted a staff meeting and began insulting and taunting the employees, and after they reported his alleged behaviour, he was given a permanent ban from the building, with his photograph being placed at the security entrance with a “do not admit” warning.
Simmons has now issued an apology for his behaviour, which he claims has been greatly exaggerated.
“I have appeared frequently over the years on various Fox News and Fox Business programs and have a tremendous amount of respect for the talented women and men who work there,” he told WENN in a statement. “While I believe that what is being reported is highly exaggerated and misleading, I am sincerely sorry that I unintentionally offended members of the Fox team during my visit.”
A source told The Daily Beast Gene had opened his shirt to reveal his bare torso and yelled, “Hey chicks, sue me!”, made jokes about Michael Jackson and paedophilia and hit two employees on the head with his book and compared their intelligence based on the sound.
