Gene Simmons Banned From Fox News for Life

Gene Simmons has reportedly been banned for life from Fox News for inappropriate behavior during a recent promotional visit.

The KISS frontman stopped by Fox & Friends and Fox Business Network’s Mornings with Maria on Wednesday morning (15Nov17) to promote his new book, On Power, and after that, he headed to the 14th floor for an interview with FoxNews.com’s entertainment section, but he instead barged in on a staff meeting and began insulting and taunting staff members, a source told The Daily Beast.

“Hey chicks, sue me!” he allegedly shouted before pulling open his shirt to reveal his torso. He also hit two employees on the head with his book and compared their intelligence based on the sound, and allegedly made jokes about Michael Jackson and pedophilia.

“It was pretty severe,” the source added.

His alleged behavior was reported to a supervisor and then escalated to human resources, and the singer was subsequently given a permanent ban from the New York building, with his photograph being posted at the security entrance with a “do no admit” warning.

According to the source, Simmons will no longer be allowed to appear on any of the conservative news network’s programs. The interview he conducted with FoxNews.com was taped but won’t be published anymore.

Earlier on Wednesday, the rocker was asked for his take on the sexual harassment and assault scandal that has been sweeping Hollywood following accusations against Harvey Weinstein and other Hollywood power figures such as Brett Ratner and Kevin Spacey.

“Okay, I’m a powerful and attractive man, and what I’m about to say is deadly serious,” he said on Mornings with Maria. “Men are jack*sses. From the time we’re young we have testosterone. I’m not validating it or defending it.”

His representatives are yet to respond to WENN’s request for comment.
