George Clooney‘s ex-girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis has reached out to the movie star and his wife Amal to wish them well as they prepare to become first-time parents.
The 38-year-old TV personality, who dated Clooney for two years until they split in 2011, tells Italian magazine Chi she couldn’t be happier for the couple, which recently revealed twins are on the way.
”I’m happy, really happy, this news brought me joy,” Elisabetta said. “When someone wants to have a baby and that actually happens, it’s a gift. I wish him the best.”

Elisabetta has also become a parent since splitting from George almost six years ago – she and her husband Brian Perri welcomed their daughter Skyler Eva in 2015, a year after Canalis suffered a miscarriage.
