Gigi Hadid’s mother has brushed off false speculation suggesting the young model is pregnant with boyfriend Zayn Malik’s child.

Fans were sent into overdrive on Monday (31Jul17) after a Twitter post purportedly sent by Gigi’s mom, veteran model Yolanda Foster, surfaced online, alleging the 22-year-old Victoria’s Secret beauty was expecting.

“I Will be a proud grandma in eight months…. Life is a blessing,” read the fake tweet.
One follower brought the claims to Yolanda’s attention, asking, “hi @YolandaHFoster there are many rumors of this, it’s truth (sic)?”

Yolanda was quick to respond to the fan, reposting the tweet and making it clear she would never share such personal information online.

“No of course not,” she replied, “if my daughter was pregnant she would be the one to announce it not me.”

Gigi has been dating former One Direction star Zayn since late 2015. They have yet to comment on the unfounded speculation.

Meanwhile, Gigi’s sister Bella Hadid also found herself shooting down rumors about her dating life on Twitter on Monday, after reports alleged she had embarked on a new romance with her pal, DJ Daniel Chetrit.

“Just to be clear…i’m STILL not dating any of my best friends, y’all!” she declared, insisting she is happy on her own right now. “In a committed relationship with myself & my happiness for now”.

Bella, 20, has been single since parting ways with singer The Weeknd late last year (16), and while he has since moved on with Selena Gomez, the runway stunner recently admitted the split with her boyfriend of almost two years hit her hard.

“It was my first break-up… and so public,” she told Teen Vogue earlier this year (17). “As an outsider, you might think I handled it so well, but it’s always in your heart, and you always feel it very heavily. It’ll be hard for a while. Love hurts, but you have to pull through.”

“But I’ll always respect him, and I’ll always love him,” she added. “Sometimes you want to be sad about it or handle it differently, but, at the end of the day, you never want to burn a bridge that you’ve fought so hard to build.”
