Gina Rodriguez Was Too Animated for New Movie ‘Ferdinand’

Gina Rodriguez had to cling onto a “baby bar” when she was recording her voiceover for new movie Ferdinand because she was too animated in the studio.

The Jane the Virgin star voices a feisty hedgehog in the film and she admits she couldn’t keep her hands to herself while acting out scenes.

“It was very exciting to do and, yes, I am very expressive… so when I was in the booth, they brought out the baby bar,” Gina explained during an appearance on The Talk.

“You grab on because (otherwise) every time you move you clang something… They brought in this bar and they were like, ‘Hang onto it, Gina!'”
