Electro band Goldfrapp are releasing a short film inspired by their latest album. The 30-minute movie, entitled A Tale Of Us, will focus on a group of five people – Stranger, Laurel, Jo, Drew and Annabel – whose stories feature throughout the band’s 2013 record of the same name.
The film will be aired at cinemas around the globe on 4 March (14) and will be followed by a live performance from the band, transmitted direct from Air Studios in London.
Frontwoman Alison Goldfrapp says, “We’re very excited to present a unique event, the Tales Of Us film alongside an intimate live performance, to our fans across the world. We’ve loved touring the Tales Of Us album and can’t wait to bring our live show to local cinemas.”
