Veronique Peck, who was by her husband’s side when he lost his fight with bronchopneumonia in 2003, passed away on Friday (17Aug12) after suffering heart failure at her home in Los Angeles.
French news reporter Veronique met Peck in 1953 when she interviewed him for a story. They married on New Year’s Eve two years later (31Dec55), a day after the actor’s divorce from his first wife, Greta Kukkonen, was finalised.
The couple had a son and a daughter together.
