Grumbleweeds star Graham Walker dies

Beloved British funnyman Graham Walker, who was a longtime member of comedy band The Grumbleweeds, has died, aged 68. Walker passed away on Sunday (02Jun13), two years after being diagnosed with cancer.
He was one of the founding members of The Grumbleweeds, who came together in the early ’60s but had to wait 15 years for mainstream success with their own BBC Radio show.
The Grumbleweeds Radio Show ran from 1979 to 1988 and won the Best Radio Show prize at The Television and Radio Industries Awards in 1983.
Walker also appeared in British TV programmes such as Emmerdale, Coronation Street and Heartbeat.
His death comes weeks after he signed on for pantomime Peter Pan in Crewe, England this Christmas (13).
