Gwyneth Paltrow shunning theatre until her children are older

Gwyneth Paltrow has dismissed rumours she is planning a return to the theatre, insisting she won’t tackle a stage role until her children are older. The Iron Man star hasn’t been seen on stage since a 2002 London production of Proof, but has been linked to various West End roles in recent years.
Paltrow admits she has come close to signing up for several West End plays, but she is determined to hold off a theatre run until her daughter Apple, eight, and son Moses, seven, are older.
She tells the BBC, “Theatre absolutely appeals to me and I would love to do a play here (in London) and I’ve almost done a couple but then I realised that my schedule would be the opposite of my children so I would be at work when they were at home, so they’re a bit little for me to do a play at the minute but it’s something I’ll definitely do at some point.”
