Halle Berry’s ex-husband Olivier Martinez has settled a lawsuit brought by an airport employee who alleged he was assaulted with a baby car seat.
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) worker Ronaldo Owens launched legal action against the then couple in 2015 as he claimed the French actor shoved the car seat into him as they tried to get into a waiting car. Berry was dismissed from the case last month (Sep17).
According to documents obtained by The Blast, Martinez, whose divorce from the Swordfish star was finalized in December last year (16), has settled Owens‘ claim.
The terms of the settlement have not been revealed, however the airport worker initially wanted $5 million from the then couple.
After Martinez‘ decision to settle the case, it has now been formally dismissed.
Despite their divorce, Berry and Martinez, both 51, co-parent their 4-year-old Maceo, and they reunited for a family holiday last year (16) along with the actress’ eight-year-old daughter Nahla, from her romance with French–Canadian model Gabriel Aubry.
