The TV funnywoman was in Las Vegas on Saturday (28May11) for a private gig and flew back to the East Coast that night ahead of party plans on Sunday.
However, Handler was left a long way from her Long Island destination when heavy fog forced her private jet to divert to Teterboro Airport in New Jersey and she had to drive for two and a half hours to reach The Hamptons.
She tells New York Post gossip column Page Six, “I flew in around 5am, and we had to fly into Teterboro because of the fog, so (it took) two and a half hours to drive from Teterboro. But now that I am here and I’ve slept, (I feel better).”
