Harry Styles is following in the footsteps of stars including Adele and Michael Buble by landing his own BBC show.
The former One Direction star will perform tracks from his debut solo album while also chatting to host, and close friend, Nick Grimshaw about his career, going solo and venturing into the acting world for Harry Styles At The BBC.

The hour-long entertainment show will be filmed in BBC Studios in Manchester, England, on August 30, 2017, and will be broadcast on BBC One this November.

Harry is a great performer and full of so many wonderful stories about his extraordinary career, which he’ll be sharing with us, I can’t wait for this show!” Nick said of the program.

Harry’s show follows the success of Adele At The BBC and Michael Buble At The BBC. The Adele show, broadcast in November 2015, was nominated for Best Entertainment Programme at the BAFTA Awards. A sketch on the episode, which saw Adele impersonate herself in front of a host of Adele impersonators, gained over 60 million views on the BBC YouTube channel and went viral worldwide.
Bob Shennan, Director of BBC Radio and Music, said of Harry’s show: “BBC Music is committed to supporting a range of new and established acts, and I’m very happy that we’re able to bring Harry to BBC One this autumn for such a unique show.”

“These shows are all about creating a world in which superstars like Harry feel incredibly comfortable and alongside their brilliant, live performances, can simply have fun and enjoy revealing more of themselves to viewers than is ever normally possible,”
Guy Freeman, Editor, Special Events and Formats, BBC Studios, added.
