Hayley Hasselhoff has reportedly been charged with driving under the influence following her May (17) arrest.
The 24-year-old daughter of former Baywatch star David Hasselhoff was arrested in California for driving under the influence last month after police officers found her passed out behind the wheel of her Mercedes Benz on an Los Angeles freeway off-ramp. Police said they found the Sharknado: The 4th Awakens actress passed out in the driver’s seat with her foot on the brake.
Hayley failed a field sobriety test and had to be taken to a hospital before she was booked.
According to editors at TMZ.com, her blood alcohol concentration count was well over California’s legal limit of 0.8 per cent and now she has officially been charged with DUI. If convicted, she faces up to six months in jail and a $1,000 (£785) fine.
It is the second driving offence for the Knight Rider actor’s daughter, who has previously had her licence suspended after she was charged for DUI following her December 2012 arrest.
Hayley blamed her use of diet pills for a false positive breathalyser test after she was pulled over on suspicion of speeding and drink-driving.
