Hillary Scott’s husband takes eldest child on father/daughter date

Country star Hillary Scott was so touched by her husband Chris Tyrrell’s decision to treat their eldest child to a special father/daughter date after welcoming twins.
The singer and musician Chris have had their hands full since becoming a family of five in January (18), when Hillary gave birth to twin girls Betsy and Emory, and on Wednesday (18Apr18), the new mum revealed how proud she was of her man for going the extra mile to make sure their four-year-old girl, Eisele, didn’t feel neglected.
Sharing a close-up photo of Chris in a suit, holding up a pink dress and matching shoes for their little lady, Hillary wrote: “Big sister got picked up at school today by her (father) in a suit to take her on a surprise special date. Where? To their favorite ‘fancy’ restaurant. Why? Just because.”
“As he left the house today he asked, ‘Should I wear a tie?’…just like he would ask a friend before a first date,” she continued. “And I swoon….because I have a husband like that…and our little girls have a daddy like that. Thoughtful. Intentional. Heart of gold. #tyrrellpartyof5 #daddytogirls”.
The sweet gesture was made days after drummer Chris revealed he was taking a step back from performing duties with Hillary’s band, Lady Antebellum, so he can take care of their family while mum’s on tour.
In a recent interview with People magazine, the parents revealed they have made the joint decision that Chris will be “holding it down as Dad for the time being” while Hillary performs alongside bandmates Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley on their Summer Plays on Tour trek in July (18).
