Hip Hop stars contribute to Game of Thrones mixtape

Hip-hop stars including Big Boi and Common have contributed to the first ever Game Of Thrones mixtape, with songs inspired by storylines from the popular fantasy drama. The highly-anticipated fourth season of the show premieres in the U.S. in April (14), but fans can satisfy their Game of Thrones desires with a new music compilation, entitled Catch The Throne: The Mixtape.
In addition to Big Boi and Common, other artists who have contributed to the 10-track album include Wale and Daddy Yankee, and all the artists featured on the project are self-professed devotees of the series.
The mixtape will have its debut at the Game of Thrones exhibition at the South By Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas on Friday (07Mar14), and will be released online shortly after.
