Hocus Pocus TV Movie Remake in the Works

Bosses at the Disney Channel are developing a TV remake of beloved Halloween cult classic Hocus Pocus.

Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy starred as three witches in the original 1993 film. David Kirschner, who produced the original film, will serve as an executive producer on the upcoming project.

The new movie will feature a new cast.

It is unclear when the new movie will go into production.
