Meredith Monroe, a ravishing rose of a beauty, was born in Houston, Texas, but raised in Hinsdale, Illinois. After graduating from high school, she moved to New York to study acting. When ABC’s short-lived 1997 series Dangerous Minds folded, she relocated to Los Angeles. Meredith was then cast in the recurring role on NBC’s now defunct soap opera Sunset Beach as Rachel, a pregnant teen seeking to have her baby adopted. She made several guest appearances before finally landing a role on the WB series Dawson’s Creek. On the popular teen drama, Monroe was cast as Andie McPhee. Though she fit in well with the gang in Capeside, her character Andie was sent packing to Europe after two seasons. In 1999, Meredith married her beau of four years Steven Kavovit, a massage therapist.

Meredith‘s favorite TV show is the WB’s Charmed. “It used to be Buffy but not anymore,” she told reporters. “Now I love, love, love Charmed. I record it obsessively.”
