Hugh Jackman felt bad for wife over onscreen smooch

Hugh Jackman refused to fully commit to a kissing scene with fellow Australian star Rebecca Gibney because he did not want to upset his wife. Gibney, who starred with the Wolverine actor in Aussie crime series Halifax FP in the 1990s, reveals the Hollywood hunk shunned the prospect of a full-blown kiss because he loves his wife Deborra-Lee Furness too much.
Gibney tells online blog Show and Tell, “I got to do one of Hugh Jackman’s first kissing scenes… He wouldn’t kiss me (with tongue) because he was so in love with Deb. He said to me, ‘This is weird because of Deb’. I said, ‘Just close your eyes and think of Deb’. So he did that which was fine because Deb is a friend of mine.”
