Hugh Jackman is the new ambassador for Australian footwear brand R.M. Williams.
As part of his new role, The Greatest Showman actor is fronting the label’s Undeniable Character campaign, launching in April (19).
“R.M.’s have been a part of my life across the entire journey, from my early stage days to where I am today,” the Australian star said in a statement. “It’s an honour to be a part of the R.M. Williams family and to wear the brand’s iconic craftsman boot for the Undeniable Character campaign.”
R. M. Williams is one of Australia’s most famous brands, and is known for its handcrafted leather boots, clothing and accessories.
Founded by bushman-turned-entrepreneur R. M. Williams in 1932, the leather goods label welcomed Jackman as a shareholder in 2015.
“Someone with Undeniable Character has grit, tenacity, determination and a pioneering spirit just like R.M. himself and Hugh Jackman“, said a representative from the company.
While R.M. Williams’ chief marketing officer Mat Hayward added: “For us, Hugh is the perfect embodiment of Undeniable Character and what it means as a brand, and we’re thrilled to share that story with the world.”
