Hurley’s ex questions paternity

The man who actress Elizabeth Hurley claims is the father of her unborn baby is forcing her to offer up some proof.

While most men would be proud to own up to the notion, her ex, New York real estate tycoon Steve Bing, is asking for a paternity test to prove he’s the father. He’s concerned that future child support costs could eat up 28 percent of his annual income for several years.

According to the New York Post, if Bing does turn out to be the child’s father, he may have to pay $750,000 a year in child support.

“There’s no doubt in Liz’s mind that Bing is the father,” said an unnamed friend of Hurley‘s in Sunday’s edition of London’s News of the World. “This is just a cheap trick.”

Hurley and Bing dated from 2000 to 2001. They broke up this past summer after Hurley revealed she was pregnant.
