Jack O’Connell fulfilling promise to late father by providing for family

British actor Jack O’connell is fulfilling his father’s dying wish by providing for his family. The 300: Rise of an Empire star lost his dad to pancreatic cancer five years ago, and he has since strived to fulfil a deathbed promise to care for his mother and younger sister.
O’Connell admits his blossoming film career allows him to provide financially for his loved ones, telling Britain’s Daily Mail, “I asked him straight up: ‘Is there anything you need from me when you’re not here?’ And he said that I should look after Mum and Megs, my younger sister. So I have. I’m the breadwinner, and I have mouths to feed.”
