Anton Vickerman was sentenced to four years in prison for running a website that did not host or stream any unlawful content but provided links to pirated films and TV shows.
Vickerman alleges a warrant to search his home was gained through a false allegation that he was illegally selling DVDs, and he’s adamant his trial was unfair.
British newspaper The Guardian quotes Vickerman as writing, “If you were looking for an example of British justice in all its shining glory then you weren’t going to find it here… It became clear to me even at (an early) stage that I was not going to receive a fair trial.”
