Jaime Pressly would be ‘in’ for My Name Is Earl revival

Jaime Pressly would be up for a My Name Is Earl revival.
The 40-year-old actress starred as Joy Turner in the NBC sitcom, which ran from 2005 to 2008. And with the trend of beloved former TV shows getting rebooted, the tale of Jason Lee’s lottery winner is another show that has been rumoured for a return to the small screen.
Jaime has now backed the idea, saying she would be happy to reprise her role if she was given the opportunity to do so.
“I don’t know anybody who was a part of that show that wouldn’t go back and do it again. It would all be up to (My Name Is Earl creator) Greg Garcia, and if he made the call… Hell, he wouldn’t have to call, all he has to do is send out a mass email to all of us and we’d all be like, ‘Yup, I’m in’,” she smiled to Entertainment Tonight. “That would be it, because it was one of the greatest experiences of anybody’s life that was a part of that show, and I don’t know anybody who would say no to that man.
“To go back to that show, to such an incredible cast, and crew and writers and boss, like I said, it’s one of those things that, who wouldn’t want to relive that?”
The show ended on a massive cliffhanger as it was cancelled before bosses had chance to wrap up the story.
During an interview with E! News back in 2011, Jason said that he would love the chance to conclude the main characters’ stories, whether it would be a small screen revival or big screen spin-off movie.
“I definitely see it happening,” Jason said. “It’s time! We have to finish the list which we never got to do, so it’s sort of just floating out there in limbo somewhere incomplete.”
