Jake Gyllenhaal will be returning to London’s West End for the first time in 18 years as the star of Stephen Sondheim’s Sunday In The Park With George.
The actor and Annaleigh Ashford will reprise roles they debuted in New York.
Gyllenhaal last appeared on the London stage in 2002 when he starred in Kenneth Lonergan’s play This Is Our Youth, opposite Anna Paquin and Hayden Christensen.
His latest engagement will open in June, 2020 for a 12-week run at the Savoy Theatre
