James Corden and the stars of Beauty And The Beast stopped traffic in West Hollywood on Wednesday (15Mar17) to perform segments of the musical on a crosswalk.

Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, and Josh Gad joined the British actor/comedian, who took on the role of Belle in the Crosswalk Theatre Company’s quirky take on the film.

The troupe entertained motorists on the Beverly Boulevard crosswalk outside CBS Studios, where Corden tapes The Late Late Show.

Joking about the 10-minute skit, which aired on Wednesday night’s show, Gad said, “To be invited by James to perform at the crosswalk outside of CBS, that’s what we call a dream come true.”

Fellow Brit Stevens, who pretended to be nervous ahead of his crosswalk performance as The Beast, added, “That was the most invigorating thing I’ve ever done,” after performing the film’s main theme with Corden as Belle.

Dashing off the crosswalk at the end of the performances, Evans popped a bottle of champagne as Corden, his dancers and castmates celebrated before returning to the road to take their final bows.
