Country music star Jana Kramer is pregnant with her second child.
The singer and former One Tree Hill actress announced her happy news in a People magazine photoshoot with husband Mike Caussin, who she reconciled with last year (17), and their two-year-old daughter Jolie, with the trio posing with a sign which reads, “Only child expiring November 2018”.
Jana shared they had been through a tough time trying to become parents of two after she suffered from two miscarriages.
“I’m so excited,” she said. “We lost in October and then we did an IVF (In vitro fertilisation) cycle and we lost in February, so I want to be able to be like, ‘Hey, I know it’s hard but just try to have some hope.'”
The Dammit singer, who also suffered a miscarriage before becoming a mum to Jolie, said she became pregnant naturally after using a device to track her ovulation cycle and she is now due in November, but is keeping the gender of the baby to herself.
Despite her excitement, Jana admitted she had been suffering from the “worst” morning sickness ever.
“I was in bed for like six weeks straight,” the 34-year-old revealed. “I felt like I was just doing such a bad job as a mom because Jolie’s super active right now.”
Jana and former American football star Mike, who married in May 2015, announced they were separating in August 2016, seven months after Jolie was born, after Mike entered rehab for undisclosed reasons. They reconciled last year and renewed their vows in December.
“We really wanted to get to a place where we were healthy (before trying for another baby),” she shared. “We both know that children do not save a marriage.”
