Country music star Jason Aldean was forced to scrap his show in Texas on Saturday (26Oct13) due to torrential rain. The Dirt Road Anthem hitmaker was set to wrap up his latest trek with a show at the Gexa Energy Pavilion in Dallas, but bosses at the open-air venue called off the tour finale at the last minute over safety concerns.
Aldean took to his Twitter.com page to apologise to disappointed ticket holders, writing, “Sorry we had to cancel Dallas tonite (sic). Not my decision!!!! Was lookin forward to the last nite of the tour.”
He also assured fans he will return to the city at a future date, adding, “Promise we will be back ASAP.”
Aldean is scheduled to hit the road again in January (14).
