Jeanne Cooper to be remembered on The Young and The Restless

Producers of The Young And The Restless are set to honour Jeanne Cooper with a special memorial episode following the soap veteran’s death on Wednesday (08May13). The star, who played Katherine Chancellor on the hit U.S. TV show for nearly 40 years, passed away of an unknown illness and now her former castmates are giving Cooper the ultimate send-off.
The special, which is due to air in America on 28 May (13), will feature interviews and classic clips from her four decade-long run on the programme, and CBS network executive Angelica McDaniel says, “Jeanne Cooper was a legend, and we want to give her the tribute she deserves. The cast will honour their longtime friend, family member and co-worker in the greatest way possible, as we celebrate her life and vibrant spirit and share it with the audience who loved her as much as we did.”
