Jenna Fischer turned up in a towel for a TV interview on Monday night (02Mar18) after she suffered a wardrobe malfunction.
The Office actress made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote her new ABC show Splitting Up Together, which also features Oliver Hudson.
However, Jenna stunned fans when she walked into the studio wearing jeans and a white bath towel that was tightly wrapped around her body, while carrying a burgundy dress on a clothes hanger.
“I waited a little too long to get dressed, and then my zipper broke. And, I panicked,” Jenna explained.
Host Jimmy then commented that the star made the right decision, to which she replied: “You know, I am a Missouri girl, and the show must go on.”
As Jimmy kicked off the interview, he stated that he felt like he ran into her at a spa.
“I’ve never been more comfortable… I am mentally a little freaking out that I’m on a talk show in a towel, but I’m physically very comfortable,” the 44-year-old quipped.
During the chat, Jenna also described how she and her husband Lee Kirk traveled to Tokyo last month (Mar18) for a romantic vacation. Though they ran into some other A-list guests at their hotel – reality TV stars Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian.
“We got there and my mother-in-law Ginger emailed us and said, ‘Jenna, Lee, the Kardashians are in Tokyo. Maybe you’ll run into them?'” she said, sharing that Lee’s mom is a big fan of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. “So, I write her back and say, ‘Ginger, I lived in Los Angeles for 20 years and I’ve never run into a Kardashian. Tokyo is huge.’
“On the last day of our trip with go to Kyoto… I go to the hotel reception and as we’re checking in, they walk through the lobby. I whipped out my phone and I took a picture as fast as I could to send to my mother-in-law.”
