Jennifer Garner Hasn’t Dated Since Ben Affleck

Jennifer Garner has not been on a date since she split from husband Ben Affleck in 2015.

The actress was married to Affleck for 10 years before the two decided to call it quits, and the star is in no rush to find love again. In an interview with news.com.au, the 45-year-old revealed she has no interest in meeting someone new.

“I haven’t been on a date and I am not interested in dating,” she said. “People want to set me up and I am just like, ‘No thank you!'”

Garner also opened up about coming to terms with being a single mother to the three children she shares with the Justice League star – Violet, 11, Seraphina, eight, and five-year-old Samuel.

“I would not have chosen this life for myself or for my kids,” she continued. “I would not choose to be single or be in this position. It’s something that we are working through.”

Affleck has been less hesitant to move on. He has been dating Saturday Night Live producer Lindsay Shookus since July (17).

Garner also spoke to the outlet about the sexual harassment scandals currently sweeping Hollywood. Affleck found himself accused of sexual misconduct last month, when a 2003 interview between himself and Hilarie Burton on MTV’s TRL program resurfaced, in which the One Tree Hill star accused him of groping her.

Affleck apologized to Burton in a heartfelt Twitter post, and Garner has now urged others not to “lump all men into (the same category)”.

“We can’t just assume that every man has done something awful or that every man is guilty; due process is important and has to take place,” she insisted.

“Things have to come out in the open in order to be dealt with, and this is definitely one of those times. It’s messy, it’s not pretty, but a wound when it’s healing is a horrible thing to look at and to be around. That is where we are. There are a lot of really smart people asking tough questions, and I feel excited to see what the outcome will be.”
